McKinley I remember the day all too well as though it was a dream, yet in reality in one moment the lives of our family and friends were transformed forever. On December 1, 2003, our eleven-month-old daughter was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma, a rare form of cancer inside both of her eyes. The overwhelming sense of shock with the words, "your child has cancer,” gives the perception that this day was a day of grief. However, looking back over the journey thus far, it may have been an inevitable sense of grief from the carnal eye of human nature on December 1, 2003 but today we are rejoicing in the Lord.
